Hi Everyone,
I am new to the forum and I thought that since I have some time sitting around during my furlough days as a federal employee that I would do something productive like smoke meat! Silver lining right!! I have started out 4 years ago using a Master Built Electric Smoker that I bought from BP Shops. I never smoked anything before although the first pork shoulder I smoked came out decent enough that people ate it! I smoked turkey breasts, chickens, salmon, veggies, picnic hams, etc since then. My electric smoker died one month ago, which I was ok with since I had the chance to buy a 40 inch Masterbuilt propane smoker. I am ready to do some serious smoking now. With small kids I don't have the time to dedicate to a stick or charcoal smoker. Anyway, I am hopeful that anybody who may have a propane smoker will give me any tips they may have especially with how to smoke in winter! I look forward to chatting with you. thank you!!
