Looks really good! I agree on the bread and the butter. I love making butter and if there are kids around they love to get it on the action as well. They are amazed at eating something that taste so good that they made with their own hands! Pork looks fantastic and so did sandwich!
thanks my Cuban Sandwiches (my grandbabies' favorite) were really good.......most of my grandbabies love to hang out in the kitchen and they ALL love to help with anything.  by the time we are finished with our "cooking project" my kitchen looks like a war zone ha-ha lol. it's a great way to keep kids busy and they LOVE the compliments they receive from the family!

Have a blessed day.

Nice job, Josie. Looks like a perfect Cubano, which ranks very high on my favorite list. In fact, I had it's small cousin, a Medianoche, as a snack yesterday while waiting to board a plane in Miami. Love those things also.

Your Pan Cubano recipe looks pretty spot on but it appears that you don't incorporate any lard or shortening into the flour mix. Is that correct?

thanks for the compliment....Yes - I used butter flavored Crisco (4 tablespoons)  instead of Lard.
