Hi to all

I am sorry I haven't written till now. I have been very busy as of late

My name is Jim. I am a 63 year old snow bird. Half the year I am in Wis. the other half is in Fl.

I have been smoking for 4 years now and just love it. It was a rough road at first. I have smoothed things out and am putting out some awesome meats thanks to Jeff's web site. I use a Baby Stump's smoker, with the Guru attached. I have found that smoker can run as low as 90 and because of a pinched wire, all the way up to 500. I don't know how far it could have gone if I hadn't found the bad wire.

All in all I am having fun. ABT are amung our favorites. The stuffed mini meat loafs are another we like to serve for special occasions.

I am looking forward to swapping smoking ideas with everyone.

Bye for now

to SMF!  We are so glad you joined us!

We love to see pictures of what you are cooking (or what we call q-views here at SMF).  To "upload the q-views" just follow the directions here and it will be easier. If you are using a cell phone, an IPad or a kindle, go to the main SMF page and click the Mobile button. Will make the uploads a bit faster too.

If you didn't read the "Terms of Service" notes.....please do.  There are a few things that everyone should know about those pesky little rules before plunging into the forums and some guidelines of how to interact within the forums. Off site links are not allowed here at SMF per TulsaJeff. Not that you have done anything wrong....just a little bit of FYI for new members!

If you need any help roaming around the forums....just holler!  Happy to help out!

Hi to all.

It is so nice to be welcomed. I am not one to get on the computer every day. But with so many of you out there, I will try to keep in touch.

Some one asked how I got my screen name? Well it's my girlfriends dog's name. I got her for Linda as a pup. Linda was very busy with her ailing  older dog at the time. So I got the roll of taking care of Chewy. Well she adoped me as No.1. So we have been a pair ever since. She enjoys helping me with my cooking. I have been known to drop something her way from time to time.

By the way, Chewy stands for Cary Hidi Evil Whity Yago. 5 of our past standard poodles. She doesn't chew things up.

Bye for now

Chewy
