meatball stuffed onions!

Cored out a few onions and stuffed them with mixture of ground beef and hot Italian sausage. Wrapped in bacon and put in the smoker for 2 hours at 270. Turned out great

How did you core them out

First with a knife through the middle then used a spoon to get the rest out. Used a spoon so I didn't cut through the outer layers
