I have been looking around lately for a cookbook to pickup, but I was looking for some of your suggestions first. I'm wanting something with a good amount of recipes that goes into pretty good detail on the particular food each recipe is for. Mainly interested in a book that is meat focused.

I do that already, but I like to have books on hand as well for things...there may come a time where this fancy interweb thing doesn't work. I'm writing my own as I go though. My wife calls my notebook "my precious".

Just my thoughts but don't need a book when u have this site bookmarked. This is my goto cookbook/idea book.!!

Only book I own is Myron's Smoking book and nice to have everything in there is basically on line straight from the book. I agree with the above reply just make your own book from the many quality posts and research you find online.

There is always TulsaJeff's cookbook.  For my birthday this year....my kiddos gave me both of Myron's cookbooks.  I think he is an "a$$" but can back things up with his winnings.  His cook books are straight forward and he does keep things simple.
