Hi guys. I am looking for a dual probe thermometer for my gas grill that has a wireless unit so I can see the readings from inside my house. I've heard the maverick ones aren't the best since the high heat (or potential high heat) of a gas grill can ruin the probes. Is that true?

Can anyone else recommend one - other than maverick? I may also want to use this in an oven for roasts ect. Not sure that matters?

It doesn't have to be a different company I just threw that out there since I thought the mavericks didn't go up to higher temps. I checked Todd's site and noticed they can read up to 572 degrees. That's more than enough for BBQ and oven. Has anyone else used these for oven or just smoking in BBQ?

Thanks for the suggestion though.

Can anyone else recommend a model that's dual probe just not wireless?

I figure of in going to spend 40$ on one, may as well put in a few more bucks and be the maverick 732. No?

Did I also mention I'm in canada? That may put a spin on things for pricing.
