Using the same wood that I normally use but maybe got carried away with too much smoke. At any rate, I spent the whole day inside the dark house and couldn't even look at my pc monitor or TV without pain, but after it got dark, the pain went away.
This has happened to me before......just one day of pain and light sensitivity and the antibiotic/antihistimine drops seem to help. I did have my head in the heavy smoke on several occasions and maybe over dosed on smoke.
Neighbor had a suggestion that sounded good.....wearing swimming goggles when sticking my head in the smoke.
One funny article I stumbled across when I was googling eye damage from smoke and found a site that said that wood smoke is more harmful than 2nd hand cigarette smoke and equaled one log of smoke from a log of wood to almost 20 cigs. I will try to find that and post if I can. Did find a lot of confirming info that smoke CAN damage your eyes, especially in the elderly.
Doing another smoke today and will be super cautious about exposure.......
Thanks all for input.
