My Browns are playing the dolphins today so I thought smoking salmon would be ideal. Any good tips, recipes? How long and at what temp should I smoke it for? I have the mes30. Can't wait to hear back!

2 things about salmon......   Don't cook over 140 IT....  be sure to add salt...  I add 2% by weight.....

More about salmon....    Garlic, Onion, White Pepper, Dill and real butter are it's friends in the flavor department...   use all seasonings sparingly as salmon is a delicate meat and can be overpowered very easily.....

Welcome General !!

Depends on if you want it for snacking or for a sit-down Dinner.

For Snacking, this works great:

I never made any for Dinner, but it would have to be more moist & softer, so I would probably do everything the same, except I would smoke it hotter & faster.

Im sure the game is over but you can always think about next weekend's smoke a thon. I do lots of Salmon jerky and nuggets for yummy snacky foods.

I am camping this week in a VW camper and brought a bunch load of Salmon yummies with me that I smoked last weekend. It's awesome to share with other fellow campers.
