It is the A-Maze-N-Pellet-Smoker from here http://www.amazenproducts.com/   You can get up to 12 hours of smoke hot smoking & can cold smoke with it too. They work great & I use it every time I smoke with my MES

The maze in the rear is the AMNPS. It puts out nice blue smoke and puts out minimal heat when cold smoking.

If you have a AMNPS you can light it and walk away. You don't have to add chips every 20 min or so. you can cold smoke with it.

There are different models of the A-Maze-N smoke generators made for different applications and different types of smokers. Which one is best for you really depends on what type of smoker you have and what you want to use it for.
Like everyone else said they are Great for providing hours of perfect unattended smoke.
