Going to girlfriends parents camper for dinner,

Smoked some taters for tater salad

Some Cabbage and a vidalia rubbed cabbage outside with mayo and hit with steak seasoning, several pats of butter on top and some onion soup mix, the onion only got butter salt and pepper smoked at 250 in the Cookshack Smokette for about 4 hours then put in slow cooker and added some seasoning to taste. Sorry forgot the after pics.

Did two 10 pound turkey breasts, softened butter with some poultry rub, it comes in a plain plastic container from a bulk food store, rubbed under the skin and then in to the fridge over night and then rubbed the out side with the remaining.

Into the Cookshack at 240 until it hit 140 then out. Did them one at a time.

Then into the oven at 350 until it 157, then out and double wrapped in foil and 2 bath towels and tucked in a cooler ready for the trip, will be leaving soon.

Hope everyone has a great Labor Day weekend.

We did eat good, everyone liked the stuff we brought, and there were mashed taters, sweet taters stuffing balls corn and pie, and great company, got a few rain drops but a nice afternoon/evening.
