Bacon Wrapped Chicken Breasts

Tonight us my first shot at Chicken in our MES30. I put a little salt, pepper, red pepper flakes and garlic on boneless/skinless breasts, then wrapped with some bacon I wanted to use up. I put it in the smoker at 225... let's see what happens.

That's a tasty way to smoke chicken.

Ya, I know... if your lookin', you're not cookin' but I opened it it up to put a little glaze on top. Looking good so far. About 10deg to go.

Followed Jeff's Smoking Meat instructions, but had no smoker here.  Instead, smoked chicken breasts over indirect heat on Weber 22" kettle grill.

Served with a grilled vegetable (Vidalia onion, zucchini, and yellow squash) pasta salad and my wife's "Crabby Deviled Eggs."

This looks great.

I have cooked chicken breast with bacon. Very tasty.

The main difference for me was that I used Franks Red Hot sauce on the chicken.

I think I will follow your lead and add some red pepper flake.

Again, that looks great.
