well have the  smoker goin at about 250 degrees and2 10 LBS butts bein smoked  they have been on about 2 and a hlaf hours got some time still to wait 

 

has anyone used anythinf other than apple juice to spritz their meat while cooking   have done this from the beginning of the smoking hobby and was just wondering im using white cranberry/strawberry juice from ocean spray tonight and hope it taste as well as it smells   any input will be welcome

I'm using orange juice at the moment but I'm following a Pork Carnitas mop recipe.

I'm just winging here. The meat is for a fund raiser at the senior center tomorrow and they have a few ladies that are allergic to apples of any kind.
