Like the tittle says this was my first pork butt and it was the best pulled pork I have ever had. With the help from this forum I made my own bbq sauce and found a rub recipe online that I liked.

I smoked it with applewood at 240 till the internal temp hit 160 while spraying it every 30min with apple juice and adding more chips(30 min is when the smoke would start to go away). I then wrapped it in tin foil till the internal temp hit 205. Its the most moist pulled pork ever.

I was able to just pull the bone right out the meat and not have to clean it.

Looks great. Try no foil next time if you like alot of bark.

That looks great creed! When you can pull the bone out that easily you know you've done something right!

The bark will be better if you don't foil it, but it'll take longer. If you don't wrap it, you'll get a stall somewhere around 150-165. Wrapping it avoids the stall and is referred to as the "Texas crutch" from what I've been told. Nothing wrong with it as far as I'm concerned. But you will get more bark of you skip this step.
