Hello. I have been stalking around here for a few weeks and have learned so much. I figured I would sign in and say thank you to ever one and jeff for his 5 day e course. I got a masterbuilt electric 30in smoker for my brithday last month and love it. So far I have smoked some hotdogs, hot links, sausage, left over steak, chicken breast and with your guys help just finshed a pork butt tonight. As soon as I figure out how to post pictures I will in the pork section.

Post that Q-view! And welcome!

I have a mes 40 and smoke as much as possible. Use that mes 30 for some 3-2-1 ribs! I bet you impress everyone that eats them! Can't go wrong!

Qview is pictures of your bbq bro. Lol! If your gonna smoke or grill just take pics and post them to a thread. Folks round here love seeing delicious bbq while its raw, being cooked, and finished! I just posted a thread of me grilling tonight called "slow down and grill". It's nothing more than what I posted!

Q-view is just pictures.....mainly of something you cook...BBQ = Q-view......but any pic around here is considered Q-view!

Yes I do 2003 softail duece

I am a memeber on many other forums for different topics and I have to say this is the most friendly one yet. But I do have a dumb question. Whats a Qview?
Welcome Creed!  We do try to be the friendliest!  Just ask when you need anything, and someone here will surely have the answer.

Qview is our reference to photos of your cooks, your food, your equipment, etc.  We love to see what others are cooking, building, etc.

Okay I get it. Thanks. I just did that in the pork section. And hillbilly that's a sick bike! I love all that black. When I bought my bike it had a lot of chrome and my wife hates black. So to save my pocket book and ear from the wife I stuck with the chrome and found this awesome blue to paint it.

Thanks Creed, I appreciate it. I like the flat black for looks and upkeep. Chrome always looks good, but its a lot of work to keep clean! Lol! But when it does look clean its top notch!

I almost bought a deuce. 2007 was its last year if I'm not mistaken. But I saw a street bob in black denim and was floored! I've always loved the night train and when I asked if they could get me one in the flat black denim the street bob they had was in, and they said yes, I was sold!

That blue is great looking with all that chrome! Match made in heaven!

If you spend about 30 minutes to an hour once a week cleaning, it actually isnt that bad to clean. But once you let it slip away your right its not fun cleaning it.

Amen brother! That's true with just about anything isn't it??? It's the difference between a little elbow grease today, and a lot of fu*king hard work tomorrow!! Lol!

That bike is sweet!

to SMF!  We are so glad you joined us!

We love to see pictures of what you are cooking (or what we call q-views here at SMF).  To "upload the q-views" just follow the directions here and it will be easier. If you are using a cell phone, an IPad or a kindle, go to the main SMF page and click the Mobile button. Will make the uploads a bit faster too.

If you didn't read the "Terms of Service" notes.....please do.  There are a few things that everyone should know about those pesky little rules before plunging into the forums and some guidelines of how to interact within the forums. Off site links are not allowed here at SMF per Jeff. Not that you have done anything wrong....just a little bit of FYI for new members!

If you need any help roaming around the forums....just holler!  Happy to help out!

Equipment:  XL Green Egg, Masterbuilt smoker, stuffer and vac packer.

I have been processing my own deer for lots of years.  I smoke deer bacon, deer summer sausage, and jerky using the Masterbuilt.

About a month ago I made 3 brisket flats on my Green Egg.  I have smoked 6 loin back ribs using the Green Egg.  I have been using U-Tube, Green Eggs Cookbook, and this website for my guide.  People seem to like what I have smoked.

I am married, retired, and like to Tour on my Gold Wing Sidecar.
