I am a newbie to all of this so I had a simple but maybe dumb question.
Do you have a favorite wood chip brand for an electronic smoker and why?
It depends what I am smoking. [I use a charcoal barrell offset but type of smoker is independent of wood used].
For pork, I use cherry as well as apple. For beef, mesquite. I also like whiskey flavour [made from whisjey barrels].
