My name is Marc and I've just started truly smoking the last 2 months. I've used wood chip packs in my grill but finally got the bug and bought a Master built Sportsman Elite propane smoker after buying Jeff's excellent book. I explored the mods and went with the 8 inch cast iron pan (works like a charm) and the Maverick ET-732 (it's awesome!!!).

I did my virgin run (after seasoning of course) with two whole chicken following Jeff's recipe. My daughters and wife are now believers and submitting requests!!
Sunday I'll be doing a pork butt and some stuffed jalapenos!!!
