Got an email that my smoker is in. I'll pick it up today and put it together, break it in and give smoking a shot. I make a pretty good meatloaf and can't think of a better choice for my first effort. First of all, I'm familiar with oven making it and know how it should taste when done, so I have a base line. Second, if I screw it up, I haven't wasted a ton of money, and may even be able to resurrect it in the kitchen.
But you all may have reasons that this is not a good idea, so let me know. Otherwise, it's Sunday dinner!
