I left my beloved Tucson for a job in DC in 2008. Left behind a Brinkman smoker and an incredible patio grill, but did manage to drag along my Cookshack that currently resides on my oldest son's deck a few blocks away.
I enjoy creating regional specialties and serving them authentically; everything from the Carolinas through the south & midwest to the Pacific Northwest. Research is a lot of the fun--the payoff is the satisfied smiles when friends push back from the table.
