Happy smoken.

We use it on occasion for certain sauces.....   If it makes food taste better, use anything you want...

True story we had a bottle from years back in the pantry I am sure it was for some strange recipe and was used a couple of times.  Cleaning one day the bottle fell and broke out house reeked of stale smoke for at least a week.

X2.  Why not?  While having the ability to physically smoke anything that can be consumed, there are times that using liquid smoke just makes common sense.

My wife was cleaning out this cabinet a few weeks ago.  That very same thing happened.  She broke a bottle of liquid smoke also.  That part of the house smelled like a smoker.

I have a bottle. Used it once. That was enough.

Tasted like I had licked the door of my smoker. Ick... Brian

Yea, I'll confess. I use it, but only for deer jerky. I use about a teaspoon in a huge batch of marinade. I hang my jerky inside the oven, so I don't get real smoke. I actually thought about smoking some in my smoker, without the liquid smoke, just to see how it tastes.
