Nice! That Zucchini looks like it's about ready to start crankin out the squash!

I didn't get to plant my garden this year so I am living vicariously through everyone else's photos! I will be back with a vengeance next year though!

Yep we'll be harvesting the zuch tomorrow! Maybe a smoked quiche would be tasty! It's been a tough season for us. The tomato plants still don't have anything on them. Last year we had hundreds of tomatoes by now. We've have one head of lettuce and a few heads of spinach, don't have a clue what happened to the rest we planted! No sign of the carrots either

Looking good dirt! Sorry to hear about the tomatoes. That's a summertime staple for me! My wife likes to fry up the squash with some Drakes. Mmmm

Do the tomatoes have any blossoms on them? Is that a fence to keep critters out in your first pic? How long has it been since you sowed the carrot seed?

No blossoms yet!!! My mom's plants (across) town already have green tomatoes! We just aren't sure whats going on this year! Last year we had so many we had to can them!

The fence is to keep out our heard of dogs that think they have to trample every living thing!

It was right after the last frost, which actually wasn't the last frost. I think sometime in May but can't remember.

Nice dogs Case!

That's odd you have no blossoms!!

I was gonna suggest maybe deer had eaten your spinach - they love it in my area - but with the fence that probably didn't happen without you finding evidence...

Fortunately no other critters in the yard besides the dogs. This year we got a late start so I think that is why we don't have any blossoms yet. Hopefully by September we'll have something!

I'm majorly impressed at your okra crop!  If your house design/fisherman/gourmet chef and smoker/dashing man-about-town gigs fall through, looks like you could fall back on being an okra farmer!

Wow, okra. I have always stayed away from growing it but you may inspire me to give it a try. I have this love of gumbo and frozen okra is all I've had available.

Great looking garden!

Disco go for it, we tried on a whim! It says you can plant a second crop in July so get some seeds and go to town!

Great looking zucchini!

Have you grilled zucchini? Slice it thick. Brush it with EVOO. Put it on a hot grill until you get good grill marks on one side. Flip it. Brush with EVOO. Sprinkle on some minced garlic and grated parmesan and cook until you have grill marks on the other side and the parmesan is melting. MMMMM.
