The first time I used the gas grill and last weekend over an oak fire pit. They are very good cooked slow over a fire.

Nice looking sausage.......I'll weigh in and vote to make another batch or half batch to get the salt under control...

I started out with 2 butts and ended up using 4 butts to get the salt under control.
