Hello folks,

I have recently bought a Brinkman Grill N Smoke, and have used it a dozen times in two weeks.  I have also not been able to sleep because I have been watching every youtube video on smoking there is.  Recently, I retired from the ARMY, and have returned to college to finish my degree.  When summer started I was looking for something to occupy my time, and boy did I find it.  I have always loved cooking, and would always get volunteered at work to run the BBQ.  However, I never really looked at it other than something i was pretty good at.  I now believe I can be really good at it. I understand the Brinkman Grill N Smoke is really a beginners (not very reliable) smoker.  However, I have been able to cook some really delicious meals.  I am interested in entering a BBQ competition, and have recently started collecting all the pieces to begin building an UDS.  I hope to gain knowledge, and be of use to anyone that I can, from joining this site.

Thanks,

Eric
