First Baby Backs using 2-2-1 w/qview

Still a newbie here and this is actually the third time attempting ribs, but the first two times I did not use the 2-2-1 method and wasn't pleased with the results. I smoked two racks of baby backs and they turned out amazing! I didn't quite think the foiling part through so I made a little bit of a mess when I went to remove the ribs from the foil - any suggestions, aluminum pans maybe? Anyway, here is my first q-view. Planning to do a pork butt in the near future.

Thank you! Enjoyed the leftovers for dinner last night and still had enough for lunch today.

Looks great. Nice color. I use foil some use pans. Just remember the foil pack will be hot and full of liquid so be careful when you open it.

Happy smoken.

Tasty looking ribs!

I use foil and just make sure that the closed part faces up. I put mine on a lipped baking tray and open on there to catch any wayward juices.
