Hi I have had a tough day with my fire. I am using an offset char broil smoker I used the minion method of lighting. I have never had a problem before keeping temp up the only difference seems to be a very humid day here in Trenton Ontario Canada

Perhaps, if there is very little air movement a small charcoal fire may be difficult to maintain. Get a small fan and place it in front of the air intakes to get some air flow.
