Hi, my name's Daniel from Montreal, Canada. I've been grilling meat my whole life but just decided to buy my first smoker (partially because of a trip to Memphis which blew my tastebuds away). Before i go big with a WSM i decided to go cheap so i can experiment. I now own a Master Chef Vertical Charcoal Smoker which isn't the most popular model (not sure if they even sell it anywhere in the US) but has gotten good reviews.
Unfortunately I've got a limited timeframe to smoke since I live in an apartment so i obviously can't use it there. I keep it up at my cottage which unfortunately isn't winterized so i've only got about may-september each year to smoke until i buy a house...downside of trying to smoke meat in a seriously cold country.
I've posted my first few questions in the below thread and if anyone has any suggestions i'd love to hear them
