Hi guys, been admiring the forums for awhile and finally got into smoking. My first two smoking experiences have been successes with the in-laws so I hope to contribute in the future. Thanks for having me!

Hello rcstorm and welcome to the fun.  Many good folk here with a load of experience that they are more than willing to share.  If you have specific questions just start a thread and someone with experience will be along soon to offer advice.  Spend some time doing some research on the forums, tons of advice and recipes already available there.  The trial and error method works well.  We will try to help you keep the errors to a minimum since we already made them for you.  We look forward to your contributions.  Have fun.  Good luck.  Keep Smokin!

Thanks kc5tpy! I have already read articles that have got me thinking of ways to modify my cheapo smoker. Forums are the greatest way to spread knowledge in my opinion.

East side or West side of Odessa? Mojo or Bronco?

LOL... Howdee, nice to meet ya. Great folks here, the search engine is totally awesome, the Guru's are amazing, and the folks are pretty friendly. Its a great place to learn, refresh, or inspire. Make sure and let everyone know what type smoker you use, thats how specific the help here can be.

If I can do anything to help, please let me know.

Nice to meet an Odessa resident.

If you didn't read the Terms of Service notes.....please do.  There are a few things that everyone should know about those pesky little rules before plunging into the forums. Rule #11......"Off Site Links are not allowed here at SMF" is something new. There are other simple guidelines for all of us to remember as we interact here.

If you need any help roaming around here in SMF....just give me a shout.  Happy to help any time!
