If i ask my butcher he'll probably just laugh.... I have NO idea where to look.     Are they in the grocery store, specialty markets??

My brother-in-law goes out the ponds with his pellet gun. He usually comes home with a five gallon bucket full

Where you from. I would be more than welcome to come with us. Caught 125 the night it opened back up cant wait for the spillway to fall. You guy on the mississippi up north need to quit sending us all this water down south
Do them with lemon pepper and butter on the grill before but never smoked them. Might have to give it a try

Hello.  Hmmmm.  Frog legs.  Can't find 'em you say??  Usually 2.  At the opposite end from the head.

I'm sorry my friend.  Just couldn't resist.  I have actually seen them in grocery stores here but that does you no good.  Louisiana would be closer.

Small medium or large?

Choupique was showing what his kids had caught the other day for a frog rodeo. He's from lake Maurepas.

Yeah, we always go frogin at the camp over by Laccassine. When we get to seeing too many red eyes in the ditches we figure we got enough and go clean 'em and drink a cold one or two.

These guys are expensive, but you can get seafood delivered to anywhere. You might also try Comeaux's Grocery in Lafayette, Amazon also sells 'em.

Most independent Fish Mongers will carry them based on Restaurant and Culinary School demand. However they will be frozen unless you find a guy that sells volume to his big clients. Asian markets, as mentioned, are a good place to look as well...JJ

Generally they're right there under the frog, between his butt and his feet.

Sorry, couldn't resist. As for where to get them, I have no idea. Maybe try calling around to restaurants to see where they get them?

**Edit--Just noticed KC5TPY beat me to the punchline with that joke. Sorry to be redundant!

I have seen them in stores around here, but my Frog Legs usually come to me.

When my Son gets tired of not being able to sleep, he shoots a bunch from his deck, and brings them to the old man.

I think I'll be getting some soon, because I can hear them from my house, about 1/4 mile from his house & pond.
