Smoked these up in the mini. Ran them in the smoke (pecan) for about 45 minutes then cranked up the heat and finished them up. I didn't put them on the direct grill, just kept them on the upper rack the whole time. I didn't have the diffuser in.

MMMM!!!

After the flip I threw some tater chips in to smoke up!

Used a soft Brie like goat cheese on a couple of the burgers. Was really tasty and when mixed with mustard almost gave the burgers a honey-mustard flavor. Looked cool when melted!

Now time for the assembly line! it's a burger on top day!!

The Tower!

The squish!

The slice! Notice the smoke ring! That gooey cheese layer on top!

ENJOY!!!!

One thing I forgot to mention is that we've been using wasabi mayo from Trader Joes. Really adds to the flavor of any sandwich!

You had me at wasabi mayo!   I don't know if this Trader Joes you speak of...but i'll sure as heck find me some wasabi mayo!
The closest Trader Joes to you would be in Indianapolis! If that's too far I'm sure it'd be an easy task to whip up a homemade batch!
