Southern Callifornia
Hello Everybody,

First off my name is Steve & I live in Southern California. I'm employed as a crane mechanic in the Los Angeles harbor. I have been smoking for the past couple of years first with a propane upright type & now a Traeger pellet grill.

I also homebrew beer along with brew for a local brewing company. Nothing better than a great smoked meal with a couple pints of craft brewed beer.

I'm looking forward to the great post that this forum has, I have found them very informative.

Thanks, Steve

Hello Steve and welcome to the fun.  Many good folk here with a load of experience that they are more than willing to share.  If you have specific questions just start a thread and someone with experience will be along soon to offer advice.  Spend some time doing some research on the forums, tons of advice and recipes already available there.  The trial and error method works well.  We will try to help you keep the errors to a minimum since we already made them for you.  We look forward to your contributions.  Have fun.  Good luck.  Keep Smokin!

Hi Steve...nice to have you here.  My oldest son is studying to be a brew master and we have an annual event that we have dubbed the Brew-B-Que.  We brew beer, sample what was already brewed, and smoke some great food.

Anyhow,
