when to rub?

Night before! :)

Or atleast 4 hours before....that gives the rub time to "melt" into the meat and you'll almost form a BBQ sauce glaze on it. My fridge is smelling of it right now!
 
 
I'm with Pops on this one.  I've done it both ways... Night before and Right before I throw it on the grate. Cant really taste the difference ether way. So, I'm always looking for the easy way out, I'll wait till the last minute.  Brian

As Pops has already given the word; my opinion probably doesn't make much difference but I never season nite before.  I agree with BD.  It ain't like brining.  I see no difference.  Keep Smokin!

It's Funny how both sides are so passionate...Bottom line, If you have Time, a Work Space, and the Rub Ready...Get it on the Ribs!!! If this will all not be possible before tomorrow...They will still be Great!!!...JJ
