Hey guys i have a masterbuilt extra wide propane smoker with only a few runs on it and i see that the fire is very lazy and yellow starting at the med. spot on the dial.I tried 2 diffrent propane tanks and moved the burner back and forth as much as it will go but no change? any ideas... has anyone drilled some extra holes around the end of the venturi to allow more air to pre-mix with the gas?if u turn it up past med. it will start to soot no matter if chip pan is over the fire or not dosent matter very un happy with this problem any help would be great..........

Spiders love to get in the burner tube and spin a web. Try to either take the burner out or the valve out where you can get to the burner tube and clean it out with some pipe cleaners.
