After a failed attempt to use the new side firebox with coals(temp), my pops came into town and we tried logs. Ran a test run on some baby backs which turned out great, now we are about 11 hours into some pork picnic cuts. Rubbed with garlic olive oil and Grill Masters pork rub. Got some crushed garlic stuffed into some slits and soaked in beer and apple juice. Cooking with pecan wood. We wrapped them up in foil about an hour ago.
