looking for a large propane smoker.

looking for a large propane smoker that I don't have to build myself. I was hoping to go to Lowes or Home Depot or one of the big box stores. I saw two door I believe it is a master forge that looked pretty good at Lowes at like seven hundred and some square inches of cooking space. Are there any bigger ones out there readily available?

What do you plan to smoke on it?  If you want to have plenty of room for full racks of ribs, find an extra wide smoker like a Mastebuilt which has 1333 square inches of cooking space over four over sized cooking racks.

Got mine at bass pro online. Way cheaper. It was $159.99 online with free in store delivery. Thing is amazing. I've had 4 packer briskets and 4 butts at the same time going in that monster! Lots of room left. Lol. yahoo.gif

Opps. Take a hundred off that for retail.

If you can get a deal like TurnandBurn did, then that would be pretty sweet.

I have a 44" Smoke Hollow and have enjoyed it.  It comes with five racks (2 regular, 2 jerky (although I use the toothpick method), and one that can be used as a normal grate or flip it over and you can stand up 7 racks of ribs on it).  Each rack is 14" x 22" so it has 1540 square inches of cook space.  It also comes with a sausage hanger that mounts from the ceiling of the smoker to hang sausage.  One thing I really like about it is that the vertical positioning of the racks is adjustable so you can make thick or thin "shelves" to cook different sized meats at once.

I picked mine up at Sam's Club for $279 but have seen them at Gander Mountain for the low $300s.
