For the bison burger patties I used:
I must say the bison meat is really good! This was my first time trying bison, and I wanted to grill it so I could get a sense of the taste. Next time I will smoke these, probably with mesquite. The spread is good, but next time I will use fresh garlic instead of the powder to get a little aioli thing going on. The spices in the bison burger went well with the blue cheese and spread. I will have use this recipe again soon..... with TBS next time
- 1 lbs ground bison
- 2 oz. blue cheese
- 1 egg whites only
- 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 cup mayo
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tsp franks hot buffalo sauce
- 2 tsp finely chopped parsely
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
