Not sure what to expect but based on the few posts I've read, looks like a smoking good time. (Actually I'm into continuous learning and I anticipate lots of help with that.)
I'm native to the Seattle area, these days I call Snohomish home. Pikaia is the name on my sailboat that I keep at the docks in Everett.
When I was younger, I found the challenge of charcoal cooking a blast then I went gas for convenience. Just bought a Smokey Mountain Cooker/Smoker.
Slow Smoked a Pork Shoulder and made slaw to put on top of the pulled pork sandwiches this weekend...MMMM...
Think I'll keep both the Gas Grill and the Charcoal Smoker busy depending on that day's menu.
