Just bought a Master Forge 2 door propane smoker, seasoned it and now ready to use.

I have read various things about wood, but wanted to ask the forum.

With this propane smoker, should I use chunks or chips (and will the chunks fit in the burn box that came with it) Which gets better and longer smoke.

Should I soak the wood first or just dry?

How often do normally need to add /change out the wood - I read normally about 90 mins.

Thanks, want to get off to a decent start

Welcome to SMF!

Use the search bar, this has been discussed hundreds of times..

But the only way to know what is going to work for your smoker is to just try it out..

Best of luck and happy smoking!
