As Jeff suggested, just to let y'all know who and what I am, I'm brand new to smoking (meats, that is -- the other kind I wouldn't even think about -- that ship sailed l-o-o-o-n-g ago!!)

I live in SW Ohio and just bought a Cajun Injector Electric Smoker.  Was at a friend's house and he -- and, his neighbor -- had Master Built smokers and seemed thoroughly satisfied with them.  Saw this Cajun Injector on sale at RuralKing and, since I'm a Cajun from Sout' Loosana, it just seemed to call to me.

I'm a male (despite my first name -- that Cajun influence, you know), married for 56 years and long retired as a Professor of Contract Management and Value Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology.

Promise to keep y'all informed of my progress with the smoker -- looking forward to it!!
