Hello everyone! I'm from Michigan, and I frequent SMF every once in a while, always checking out all the wooden smoker builds, times and temps, and different methods. I currently use a kingsford charcoal grill with the offset smoker box. There are many mods that I would like to do, but so far I've only built a expanded metal basket, and added a water pan. I've experimented quite a bit with more or less charcoal, the smoker box, chips, chunks, and of course the minion method. I have started to build my first wooden vertical propane smoker. I will post pictures soon, and I may have some questions while building this awesome project.
