Worked at the gasket seal around the chamber and firebox doors last night.

Here was the initial attempt....



Then my son walked out the door and ripped open the cover for some reason... Tough job to clean it all up and then set it up again... I was pleased :-S

Did the chimney as well because the stove gasket sealer wasn't working quite so well.


I will be attempting to remove the plastic wrap this evening around the 24 hour mark.
 
If you have to do any more. Use wax paper next time. Or spray with cooking oil

Yes, this would have been a great idea. The seal worked out absolutely fantastic though. There was a couple of spots that I am doing a bit more for now and this time I wiped the plastic wrap with oil to avoid the sticking problem.
