Collagen casings 19mm. Condition by putting in fridge for couple hours. Or soak for 5 mins (yes soak) AP and NFPDM normally gives a moister product.

What does soaking do to collagen casings? I have read you should never soak them.

What is the name of the place you get your collagens? I thought I had it saved but can't find it.
Thanks!

Soaking will make the collagen loose. However if you over stuff they will blowout. If you take your time stuffing you will be fine.

I get my casings from Dupey Equipment. I bought a caddy last month was $189

Thanks! I think I'm going to get one too because everywhere else is just outrageous buying 2 or 3 tubes at a time!
BTW Those sticks look Awesome!!!

The sticks looks awesome as usual....  I use your method of smoking my sticks but I see now, I need to adapt a Bradley Flux Capacitor to my MES....

1.21 jigawatts?

Try Waltons Rick their 19s are only 128 per caddy, I get 17s for $136 and I started soaking mine a few weeks ago when I was at the end of my caddy and they seemed a little dry and brittle. Does the trick!
