Hi I'm just getting started in trying to use a smoker. I decided to buy a Masterbuilt Smoker. I decided on a electric smoker because of where I live. (I hope I made a good choice)
I just got it yesterday. I am seasoning it now.
I'm planning on doing a chicken & pulled pork to start with.
Does anyone have any tips?

Welcome to the forums, Rick, from another Oklahoman! Glad you've joined us. You've found a great place to learn and share ideas on our favorite pastimes...grilling, smoking, and curing great food! There are lots of friendly and knowledgeable folks here who really enjoy helping one another. Just ask any time you need help and you'll get plenty!

First advice is put the chicken on the bottom rack...you don't want raw poultry dripping on other food.

Good luck!
