Happy smoken my friend.

Hey i can't break up a pair now can I ?  lol       This is actually a mini uds because i'm not using a water pan, only a diffuser so the drippings will go down to the coals...EXTRA FLAVOR BABY!    Oh and i might have an extra rack in it also to use...depends on how the temp testing works out.

Sweet... I'm assuming the Weber is the gold version since I don't see the intake vent in the very bottom.. it's on the side ? ... I absolutely love mine... I use it for 98 % of my smokes... It's so fuel efficient... anyways.. have fun with it...

Yep it's the gold...just fired it up about an hour ago and now doing a virgin rib eye on it  It's a touchy little sucker but i LOVE IT!   It's locked in on 250 ....doing a reverse sear.   No water pan, the bottom is cut out and the steamer pan is the diffuser.   This will be my go to smoker for the majority of smokes also.

I still have to paint some things and put the thermometer on but for now the Maverick is necessary anyway.

I also cut a little notch in the edge of the lid with my die grinder for my wires to come out... I have 3 racks in mine.. thinking of putting a 4th in for doing ABT's or pork candy...

It looks like i have two workable racks...not bad for putting it together a couple of hours ago.  I have a mod for probe wires you might be interested in for future builds.   It's a thread called "Maverick eyelet solution"
