Hello all from the cold rain of washington! Just wanted to say hello and ive been wondering this site for a while and thank you to the vets on the site for all you do and every piece of information on here.

I just scored a Brinkmann ebc from my dad (brand new in box for about 5 years) and started mods. Got myself a nice thermometer and now i have a $25 gift card from lowes... what should i get with it to further my mods?

One more question; i was thinking about latches for the side door because it doesnt close all the way and i want this thing to work for a while at least until i can afford a side fire box smoker. What are those latches called?

Thanks for looking!!!

Why not get a SFB at Lowes, I'm thinking around $30. Get some High temp. RTV sealant and the latches and you'll be set now.

Then cure it and Christen it with a big ole Chicken.

Have fun and . . .
