food service equipment, just a few bucks, all stainless steel, lots of small vent holes, should work with sawdust too. many different sizes, the burn time on this one is 2hrs and a heavy smoke.
It looks like a good way to get the extra smoke an AMNPS or AMNTS provides but there seems to be way too much surface area involved in the burn. With the AMN products the burn area is smaller allowing you to have a more controlled smoke over a longer period of time. This looks to do the same thing but the wide burn area will produce a lot of smoke quickly that could overpower the smooth smoke taste you may be looking for. Just my .02.....
Sorry for being a necro post, but I love to tinker with things and think I can help with this type of smoker tray burning longer.
If you put a copper pipe (with a cap?) or a stainless square tube in the middle of the tray about an inch short of the length, it should burn one side then down the other.
Just a thought if your still using this as a smoke providing device.
