Downsizing Equipment

Sold my big Cabelas grinder and accessories its heading to Iowa. Im downsized to an RV grinder. I still keeping my LEM 5lb stuffer.

I downsized awhile back. Used to do venison on the side and 50 pounds at a time was norm. Now the largest batches i do is 25 pounds and am realy trying to do smaller sausage batches. I also have a 5 pound verticle stuffer and that's plenty big. So you have equipment that suits your needs. I'm sure you will still turn out quality work, and the amount doesn't matter. Reinhard

That' very similar to what I have. Except mine was my grandmas. She gave it to my mom 38 years ago. My mom passed it on to me when she bought her kitchen aid mixer with the grinder attachment. It's ground many pounds of meat, bread crumbs, cranberries and who knows what else. Something to be said about small and simple.

Was one them spur of the moment decisions over the weekend. Sold the grinder , jerky slicer, foot pedal to my buddy for $yikes what a steal icon_eek.gif

Just remember to change grinding arms every so often....don't want one bicep getting bigger than the other...enjoy
