Hello from Northern Indiana

Thread Starter

Hey everyone! My name is Chris, and I am becoming a bbq addict!  I live up here in Northern Indiana near Notre Dame. I'm very new to the smoking scene, and just started modding my char broil offset. I've lowered the exhaust, made a charcoal basket, tuning plates are cut and ready to go. I put a steel nipple in for the probe port, sealed it up with some rtv silicone sealant. Still have to work on the baffle and I should be ready to try it out!! The information on this forum is exceptional! Looking forward to chiming in when I can! Thanks everyone for all your help already. drool.gif

Perfect thanks Chris. I'm also new to the world of smokers and I'm trying to get an idea of what to do for tuning plates.
