Hello everyone!

My name is John, I live in Bedford county VA. 

I am married with three kids (12, 17 and 21) so we stay pretty busy!

I work as a field engineer for a cellular company and as a youth pastor/worship leader at our church. 

I have a homemade offset smoker/grill constructed from a 500 gallon propane tank that I use for "big stuff" and a green egg that I use for family meals and every day stuff.

I am a volunteer fire fighter, I love to hunt, fish, camp, hike and just spend time out of doors!  

Looking forward to talking with all on you in the future..

Welcome to the forums, John!  Glad you've joined us.  You've found a great place to learn and share ideas on our favorite pastime...grilling and smoking great food!  There are lots of friendly and knowledgeable people here who really enjoy helping one another.  Just ask when you need help and you'll get plenty!
