Greetings All - new member here, long time reader.  I've found this site and all the member input to be very informative to my smoking experience and smoker builds, so I figured I'd sign up at get to know the fine folks here on the forum.  I'm always looking to learn and whatever I can add, I am happy to offer up.  I really started smoking about 6 years ago with a bullet brinkman and elevated to a brick offset built myself.  I moved last year and the hungry masses (i.e. fam and friends) basically held me responsible for their barbecue needs at the new house - and offered to assist in the build - so we got together and built another offset that would stand the test of time, as they say.  I'll post pics in the build section.  I primarily use oak logs and nuggets of hickory here and there.  Our property has a lot of black cherry trees so I will use that sparingly. I like to focus on my ribs, shoulders and brisket, but have mild experience with fish, cheese, fatties and random odds and ends that find their way into the smoker.  I'm looking forward to getting to know y'all and continue to eat well!
