was in a rush to smoke the ribs for mother's day , since the wife told me Saturday night at 11:00 pm she wanted ribs , i had to get them done in time for dinner plus i cant pass up a chance to smoke !
i did try something different . I took some BBQ sauce and put a thin layer on the ribs then put my dry rub on them and then right in the smoker ,
I tried the mustard but didnt like it so i tried the BBQ sauce THEN I put on my dry rub .
The wife liked it and if she does i guess it was good i did figure out that if you do use the BBQ sauce it has to be put on thin or it wil burn.
