Looks great! Yesterday I welded up 1 expanded steel grate and it looks exactly like the one you have in the picture. I gave it 2 coats of flax oil and seasoned it on the propane grill. Worth a try.

Great looking burgers DS! I love reverse searing. The Mini-WSM is perfect all in one unit for doing the reverse sear! I recommend building one. It would look great on the shores of Priest Lake smokin and searing away.

Those greats are great every once in a while I will take them to BBQ grill heat them up and clean them and put another coat of veg oil on them for a nice petine like a cast iron skillet works great. hope yours comes out great.  I think I have one extra if you need it ???? Size

Looks great DS! Question, does that A-1 seasoning actually taste like A-1 Steak Sauce or something else entirely?
Thanks Bluto, ya a little like a-1 very good flavor, this was the first time I used it and put the chipotle in with it so really couldn't tell, it was like 2bucks so I thought what the heck, got it home, opend it and smelt it and smelt great - started sneezing right away,  Will do more this week with it and let you know.

I really think rub on a steak would be very good.

Thanks Steve

Learn something new everyday. I have never done reverse searing. Looks great and by the results it tasted great. Love your style, and getting kids involved in the burger making. Reinhard

I know what I need to make this weekend, thanks for the inspiration

Just a note next time I think I will set smoker at 220 and put on for about 1hr for some of the burgers (momma???)  she wasn't a fan on that rare of one, and next time I will show a money shot.
